letters to Harper - month 8

Hey spunky girl! 

You keep us laughing AND on our toes these days! You are so much fun and so busy learning and moving around. I love watching you explore your little world. 

This month is September so there are lots of new "Fall" things to teach you. 

First and foremost: Longhorn Football!!

And another great thing about Fall is the cooler weather! This makes our morning runs so nice. 

Last, but not least, Fall is the start of the Holiday season! Yay! It's you FIRST holiday tri-fecta little darlin' and I can't wait to make it special for you! 

You are looking more and more like your Daddy every day, which I LOVE. 

 and you have the perfect amount of sweetness....

 ...with plenty of sass :)

Check it out! you're on the move! You "army crawl" everywhere now and love to hangout UNDER your exersaucer. There's no slowing you down...every day you are faster and faster and you love crawling all over, exploring the house at your own little level.

But we didn't just hang at the house all month..

We had tons of fun at your friend Nehman's first birthday party:

and of course, many dates with your main squeeze, Gus! who knew the lighting at Costco could be so romantic? 

we also went to Baby Time at the library, the park & the farmer's market! you love being outside & also exploring new places like whole foods, target & HEB especially now that you sit up in the cart like such a big girl!

you are growing SO quickly and becoming such a little person now...with your own sense of humor, preferences and of course....spunk! You are such a blessing & I love being able to spend so much time with you and watching almost every moment of your growth. I'm absolutely giddy with excitement for the fun months ahead!
